Tips To Using Fonts and Typography To make Your Poster Magical
It is easy and cheaper to do your poster by yourself, but to have a nice one you need to know a few things that will make your poster awesome.
The text is the most important piece from a poster, because he contains the message that it will be read by all the people who are going to look at your poster.
First search online some new fonts, you can find on internet lots of free fonts, you just have to choose the one that maches best your poster, you can find special fonts for holidays or different simbols.
Then try to edit them by using a shadow effect, you can choose the color of the shadow or you can do in italic or bold, but you can also use some 3D effects so the text looked like it is poping out.
It is always nice if you can make the text in different colors with fillers, textures or you can fill it with images. The textures can make your text loking like they are from satin, stone, bricks. You can add some borders to the letters, in a different color.
The size is important too, the spacing and the position of the text can give your poster differents looks. You can rotate your text, make it curved or whatever form you want to make it.
You can also add your text in a text box, you just have to play with the effects, try mixing and matched them, just let your imagination free.
Now this is not like limited edition sculptures but you will surely contruct a unique work of art. The trick is to have an overall idea of what you want your poster to look and feel like.
