The CIA’s Methods of Interrogation.
So, CIA agents used electric drills, handguns and mock executions to interrogate ‘terror suspects’.
What is wrong with these people? If I had to be ‘questioned’ and I had a choice of it either being done by ‘terror suspects’ or the CIA then I think that I might not be too keen on the latter. Are we talking about ‘interrogation’ or ‘in-terror-gation’? Whatever happened to ‘innocent until proven guilty’?
The truth of it all is that there are all manner of terrible things like this going on each and every day that no-one will ever hear about. All of the suicide-bombings (which are totally inexcusable for any reason or belief) are very well documented but when it comes down to what the ‘good guys’ are up to we have a convenient radio silence much of the time.
Is all really fair in love and war? Two wrongs do not make a right and this knowledge should be intrinsic in the hearts of men and women from America and Britain. It was not such a long time ago that soldiers were filmed ‘interrogating’ suspects in other obscene ways.
It sends a shudder down my spine when I hear stories like this. Are we not supposed to be setting some kind of example about being ‘civilised’?
